For WooCommerce stores

Free SKU generator for WooCommerce

Design one SKU pattern, apply it to your whole catalog, and export a CSV in the exact format the built-in WooCommerce importer expects — SKUs, prices, stock, categories, tags, and attributes included.

Why consistent SKUs matter in WooCommerce

WooCommerce enforces SKU uniqueness: a duplicate produces the dreaded "Invalid or duplicated SKU" error, and imports silently skip rows. Beyond errors, consistent SKUs are what make stock lookups, order picking, and accounting exports usable once your catalog grows past a few dozen products.

The usual workflow — inventing codes one by one in a spreadsheet — is exactly how duplicates and inconsistent codes happen. A generator applies your rules mechanically, so every product gets a unique, readable code like OTR-CTN-M-0031.

How it works

  1. Define your pattern. Brand code + attribute codes + padded sequence number, with your choice of separator.
  2. Add attributes and options. Color, size, material — each option gets a short code that appears in the SKU.
  3. Add products or generate variant sets. Duplicate-detection runs live, so collisions are caught before WooCommerce ever sees them.
  4. Export the WooCommerce CSV and import it via Products → All Products → Import.
